Pequeña muestra videográfica de un prototipo de mesa interactiva.

A partir de la detección de una serie de formas realizada mediante webcam. EyesWeb procesa la posición de las mismas sobre el tablero blanco, tratando de extraer en su captura únicamente el tamaño de las mismas y su color. Las coordenadas de estos elementos en el tablero, se envian de EyesWeb a Pd mediante un puerto interno en comunicacion OSC(Open Sound Control), y es a partir de estos parámetros de posición donde PD(Pure Data) determina el sample de sonido a lanzar así como establecemos distintas manipulaciones,tanto del sonido como del vídeo, en PD,estás se establecen siempre en función de la situación del objeto.

Que enredo de título, sería muy largo de explicar el propósito......., pero aquí queda algo de aquellos tiempos, con este video finalizo mis "videos rescate" de mi cuenta "charitilla", ahora me he cambiado a Vimeo que me gusta mas que youtube.Podeís ver los enlaces de Vimeo en el link superior.

En las últimos meses me he convertido en una "freaky" tan grande de internet,que después de abrir tantas cuentas en tantos sitios, me dí cuenta que tenía dos cuentas en Youtube una fue hecha en aquellos maravillosos tiempos en el aula 207 apurados con las entregas de Jose Lozano&cia.

Realizado en Processing, son los píxeles de parte del mapa de Gijón.
Se toma una imagen, se discretiza en puntos-pixeles-estos se convierten en volumen
3D y se guarda su "running" como un video

Practicando ActionScript

Estoy intentando la interacción con el raton se genere con un teclado MIDI
como un teclado de producir imágenes con sonido, cuando lo acabe lo subo,
esto es una aproximación sencilla con el raton, hecha también en AS3.

We manage to switch on and off 4 leds in Arduino's plate from a web page.
How it works??
1. A program is loaded in Arduino it receives from Processing “High” or “Low”.
2. From the web page (done in PHP) on a public servidor- anyone-, this servidor communicates with a local servidor installed in my computer, in this case the WampServer (Windows).
3. The local servidor receives a command and send to Processing, this register the command that comes from my own computer IP, that is to say, my "localhost".
4. Finally Processing communicates with Arduino.

SummerLab 2008

The second week of August was celebrated in Gijon - place where I was born, the Summerlab-in Laboral Art Centre-, a meeting of artists, hackers and activists, was very nice. An opportunity to learn, to see and to enter in touch with a lot of people with the same interests..I have learnt a bit of OpenFrameWorks, and the most important thing I managed one of the my aims, connecting the Arduino on-Line thanks to the help of an Asturian boy, David Pello – a “crack”-. Soon I will
show video to you. There I appear in the photo with those of OpenCV's workshop.
OpenCV´s is a application made in Pd to make “computer vision”, it detect bodies of people moving, also faces, hands etc...

An interactive table with EyesWeb+PD+GEM;

We could say that this is a prototype construction of interactive round table with "computer vision." This means that from an external element to a video camera-in this case a "webcam" -depending on one or other action recorded by the camera in real time a software application generates a behavior or another.
A program of computer vision detects the color, size and shape of some elements that operate almost like a slider sintetizador.Whem move the rods from top to bottom, a total of 16 sounds make differents answers. Each rank of displacement launching a new sound or a low pass filter depending on wich of the five parts that divided the table is in it.Eyesweb detects the color, and can submit OSC (Open Sound Control)to the launch of a PD or another sampler with its loaded. Also part of the image is made with the library GEM PD communicated with Eyesweb by OSC.This enables you to enjoy with the geometrive forms that this can generate.

Connection webcam+arduino+Synthesizer Sound+AS3.

This is a simple aplication of how to use a webcam and a synthesizer sound in AS3.
The synthesizer sound "loquendo" reads the text inserted in the script AS3, while we look for a webcam in swf.
Each of the buttons play differents messages.
Step by step:
Download this simple application here.
1.-First load the Arduino's program.
2.-Plug the webcam.
3.-Open Tinkerproxy.
4.-Keep Loquendo open.
5.-Run the Swf.

Real Time Animation with Arduino+AS3+PD.

ONE PERSON, AN EGG AND A CHICKEN PEELING.
Three potentiometers: One controls the person, another one the chicken and the other is
used to fall and introduction the egg in the chicken. The switch adds and removes the egg.

How it works??
This is a small application of real-time control of image (programmed in AS3) and sound PD.
You can download all the programmed files in a compressed format.You should take into account the following steps.
1. Load the program in Arduino.
2. Open TinkerProxy.
3. Open FlashCS3 and make sure everything works.
4. Run the Gateway folder FloscServer.
5. Lastly open the Pd, and finally publish swf.
*the downloaded application, it is simpler than the video one, but it
allows to understand better the use of the array in AS3. This use only
two potenciometers to scale two movieclips, and one only package of connection to PD.
